Prayer in silence

Lord Jesus Christ,
the Word made flesh
you entered into our reality,
became one among us.
You speak to us
in the gentle breezes,
in the silence of our hearts
with the voice
the breath
of your Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus,
help us to hear you above the noise
help us to deepen our faith and love
so that we may hear your voice
whispering to us
lifting us
into that moment of quiet
where we may
authentically
hear you communicating to us
your holy Word.
Amen.
