God Is Near Us – Hymn on the Body of Christ (Corpus Christi)

As we walk on through the desert,
we are led by the Grace of God
we are fed with the bread from heaven,
we are washed clean by His blood.

God has brought us out of slavery,
he has led us on His path becoming man
He entered history, the Almighty God is near us.

Passover with the Lord today.
Through the Body of Christ we are saved.
Open your hearts to God today
Through the Body of Christ we are saved.

As we enter in this Mystery,
it’s through Christ there is repair;
a new Communion with the Father,
a new love for our neighbour.

God has raised us up in new hope,
to taste the Promised Land.
We can walk across the water,
we can enter into His plan.
